Two Chinese companies, Dalian Shandong Food Co., Ltd. and Shandong DeShunn Foodstuff Co., Ltd., found themselves in the FDA’s spotlight. According to the agency’s findings, inspections conducted at these facilities revealed disturbing conditions that could lead to the contamination of food products.
At Dalian Shandong Food Co., Ltd., inspectors discovered live and dead insects in the production areas, as well as inadequate measures to prevent pest infestations.
